Quantity Surveyor

Gloucestershire County Council is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor as part of our plans to expand our Highways Commissioning Team to deliver over £150m of investment in the road network over the next five years. As the Quantity Surveyor you would have responsibility for supporting the commercial team in managing financial and contractual performance of highway contractors. You will work with both client and contractor staff to carry out audits of work and invoicing to ensure standards are met and best value is driven out of the Council’s investment in structural maintenance. Candidates should be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience in quantity surveying in a construction industry background.
