IRIS Social Worker/Senior Practitioner
Salary:£28,485.00 - £37,306.00

This newly created team will be part of a developing, dedicated multi-professional IRIS service (including 2 residential children’s homes, therapeutic day provision, specialist foster care, programme and family support) which is seeking to make a real difference to young people’s lives. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a developing team, where you will hold a reduced caseload and work alongside social workers to help coordinate plans whilst young people are part of the IRIS service.

- You will be HCPC registered
- Passionate about achieving the best outcomes for children through direct work
- Creative and credible in your approach
- Experience of multi agency working
- Have recent statutory experience of working with families and protecting children who are in need and at risk
- Experience writing assessments and outcome focused plans with children and families
- Recent statutory experience working with children in care
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation and research - you’ll be ready to influence and embed positive change
