Experienced Social Worker / Senior Practitioner – Children’s Safeguarding


Are you a qualified Social Worker? Are you passionate about working with children and their families to ensure the best outcomes? What about an opportunity working in our frontline Children’s safeguarding teams?


Our children’s safeguarding teams include our Referral and Assessment Teams; who respond to initial child protection enquiries and our Children and Families Teams; these teams work with children and families who require further social work interventions. These teams are located across the county to best support the needs of the children and families in each community.

About you



  • You will be HCPC registered

  • Passionate about achieving the best outcomes for children through direct work

  • Creative and credible in your approach

  • Experience of multi agency working

  • Have recent statutory experience of working with families and protecting children who are in need and at risk

  • Experience writing assessments and outcome focused plans with children and families

  • Recent statutory experience working with children in care

  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation and research - you’ll be ready to influence and embed positive change
