Deputy Team Manager - Children’s Safeguarding

Our children’s safeguarding teams include our Referral and Assessment Teams; who respond to initial child protection enquiries and our Children and Families Teams; these teams work with children and families who require further social work interventions. These teams are located across the county to best support the needs of the children and families in each community.

About you



  • You will be HCPC registered

  • Passionate about achieving the best outcomes for children

  • Have recent statutory experience of working with families and protecting children who are in need and at risk

  • Have supervisory / practice educator / coaching / mentoring experience

  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation and research - you’ll be ready to influence and embed positive change

  • Experience managing processes, projects or change in social work
