When it comes to delivering excellent customer service, few environments are more rewarding than a place that brings enjoyment, education and knowledge to a whole community. You will find this and a whole lot more at your local library.


We are currently looking for a member of staff to help us deliver this excellent customer service within the Central Locality, working at Hucclecote Library.  You will need a good IT and digital skills, enjoy working as part of a team, yet still able to use your own initiative and be able to use our resources in order to answer the wide range of enquiries we receive.


You will proactively promote the library services, participate in any activities and outreach work, and maintain a good knowledge of the library services in order to help customers gain maximum use of the facilities.


The role involves working with children on occasion. You may be required to work on evenings or Saturdays.


No formal library qualifications are required but customer service experience is essential.
