Gloucestershire County Council is looking to recruit an Assistant Engineer as part of our plans to expand our Highways Commissioning Team to deliver over £150m of investment in the road network over the next five years. As the Assistant Engineer you would be supporting the structural maintenance team in the identification, design and delivery of resurfacing and patching works on roads and footways. You will work with a team of design engineers, technicians and supervisors. Candidates should have previous structural maintenance or construction supervision experience and have or be working towards an engineering qualification.
