Casual EDT Social Worker
Salary:£32,486.00 - £37,306.00
Location:Shire Hall Complex, Westgate Street, Gloucester - GL1 2TG

We have opportunities for experience practitioners to join us on a casual, zero hours basis. You will be called on as and when there is a need within the Emergency Duty rota. Enhancements will be paid for unsociable hours and training will be provided in areas where needed.
To ensure full duty cover at times of staff shortfall we are seeking to increase our pool of practitioners on a Zero hours contract. To work on an ad hoc as needed basis to cover staff shortfall.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within an Emergency Duty Team ensuring effective safeguarding and protection of children and provision of services to vulnerable adults.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Registered HCPC
- AHMP qualified (highly desirable)
- Extensive statutory experience in children’s, adults or mental health care
- Ability to work independently
- Experienced working within an Emergency Duty Team (highly desirable)
