The Information Management Service is looking for an enthusiastic Records Centre Assistant to join a busy team facilitating access to corporate records held in the Records Centre.

You will have good attention to detail, with the ability to create quality data entries in the Records Centre’s records database.


You will have strong communication skills and customer focus in order to provide support to the Records Centre’s users across the Council.


You will understand the importance of applying appropriate access controls and upholding retention and disposal requirements.


You will be based in Shire Hall with some duties at the offsite records store in Mitcheldean.
