Are you a registered social worker, with experience in Adult Social Care, looking for your next career move? The Forest of Dean locality team are looking for a part time Advanced Practitioner for their team. As an Advanced Practitioner in the team you are in a supervisory position, advising both qualified and unqualified staff.

Currently in place, the team has a supportive and engaged management team, comprising of: an integrated social care manager, an deputy social care manager and advanced practitioners. This established team is also made up of approximately 20 other staff including: social workers, social care assessors and an administration team.

We are looking for someone who is confident in legislation and who is passionate about supporting and developing others to ensure practice quality. If you have previous mentoring or supervisory experience this could be an ideal position where you would supervise and co – work cases with staff to ensure they feel supported, confident and safe in their roles.
