Team Manager - Children’s Safeguarding

As a Team Manager you will be responsible for the leadership and management of Children’s Social Care Services improving outcomes for children and families by delivering a robust and high quality service through effective leadership and management. To achieve this you will be responsible for the day to day leadership and management of your team, managing budgets, managing team performance and assuring the quality of work, holding reflective supervision with Social Workers, leading on legal processes, chair professional meetings and working with service users and performance information to improve the quality of service and improved outcomes for children and their families.

About you

  • You will be HCPC registered

  • Passionate about achieving the best outcomes for children

  • Demonstrate clear decision making, problem solving and risk assessment

  • Have recent statutory experience of working with families and protecting children who are in need and at risk

  • Have supervisory and management experience

  • Experience managing processes or projects in social care

  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation and research - you’ll be ready to influence and embed positive change
