3x Positions - Fixed term for 1 year

Oakley is a day services for Adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and some behaviours that are challenging.

The Woodlands is an independent service situated in the grounds of Oakley Adult Opportunity Centre in Cheltenham. It is a purpose built day service for adults with learning disabilities including Autism, Complex Needs and Challenging Behaviour and would not fit into a normal day care environment.

We are looking for applicants who have some experience in working in these areas.

This post works across both Centres where you will be required as part of the team to facilitate stimulating sessions and activities both within the centre/s and in the community in order to maximise service user choice, independence and inclusion.

To promote and encourage Service Users independence using a person centred approach.

Successful applicants will need to be able to work as part of a team across the 2 units.

You will be required to undertaking training.
