Gloucestershire County Councils Children and Young People’s Commissioning Team is looking for a Commissioning Support Officer to support the commissioning function by managing the information resource to inform the commissioning process and undertake transactional and contract activity.

The post holder will work as part of a team of commissioners sourcing and contracting individual placements for vulnerable children and young people who are in the care of the local authority.

This is a dynamic position and you will be expected to multitask.

You will need to be flexible, resilient, organised and calm under pressure. Experience of working in a commissioning environment and/or with providers of children’s social care would be an advantage.

The role is a permanent position.
