If so, the Friends and Family Assessment and Support team based in Gloucester are looking for qualified social workers, to work full time, undertaking fostering and Special Guardianship assessments and support kinship and Private Fostering arrangements.

You will need to be a qualified social worker and registered with HCPC. You will need to have gained experience of completing assessment and report writing. Be a skilled communicator and have energy, drive and passion. The team is based in the centre of Gloucester, but covers the entire county, therefore you will need to be flexible in your working hours and have a full clean driving licence and access to a car.

Starting salary will be agreed based on experience of applicants, those in their ASYE will begin on £25,951 where as experienced social workers will be between £27,668 - £31,601 with opportunites to progress further into senior roles.
