Due to service needs and training this is not open to job share.
This is a Grey book position and equates to 42 hours per week but worked at 48 hours over 8 days.
Firefighter (Control) is a fast-moving and challenging role which continually adapts to the needs of the service and the community at any given time.
One of the main roles of the Firefighter (Control), in accordance with Fire and Rescue Service response principals, is to receive and handle emergency calls, appropriately dispatching resources to resolve incidents, and support the ongoing needs of events. This includes making decisions based on information received, and informing, and advising others of actions taken. An ability to work under pressure is essential.

The evaluation day for successful candidates will be on Thursday 8th February.
