Casual Library Assistant
Salary:£15,807.00 - £17,772.00
Location:Cirencester Library, GL7 2PZ and Fairford Library,GL7 4AQ - GL4 4AQ

We are looking for staff to join our pool of casual staff. You would be offered work covering the absence of other staff.
Working with us is exciting and varied with no two days being the same. This post offers flexible working hours, in friendly community focused Libraries.
We need people who live in the Cirencester or Fairford areas in order that when contacted you can respond at short notice to the available session.
You will need excellent IT and digital skills, including using tablets. Team working is also important as is the ability, to use your own initiative to answer the wide range of enquiries we receive.
You will be expected to proactively promote the library; participate in children’s activities and have a good knowledge of all our services in order to help customers gain maximum use of the facilities.
No formal library qualifications are required however customer service experience is needed.
£9.70 per hour - flat rate. Hours worked are as and when required to cover absences at Ccirencester and Fairford Libraries.
