Are you looking for a new challenge?

We are currently looking for a person to join our Libraries Support Team to help us with the delivery of library services in Gloucestershire.

You will play a key role in the distribution and movement of library stock across the county.

This will be a very physical job, entailing the processing and repacking of deliveries, and other supporting tasks as required.

You will should enjoy working as part of a team yet still be able to use your own initiative and be self motivated.

Gloucestershire County Council will pay an additional ‘local living wage supplement’ to the pay of all employees who are attached to Grade C10 and below.  The current Living Wage rate (effective 1 September 2015) will be £7.85 per hour/£15,144 per annum. The difference between the contractual salary rate and the living wage rate will be paid as a discretionary, non-contractual market supplement (‘top up’) to your basic salary.  These provisions may be subject to change from time to time.  In particular, the Council reserves the right to withdraw the discretionary top up supplement or to amend the rate of its living wage.
