As an advanced Practitioner in the team, you will be in a supervisory position, advising both Qualified and Unqualified staff.

We are looking for a candidate with proven up to date legislative knowledge and ideally someone with supervisory experience.

We will value you and your contribution; we are looking for someone who has credible approaches to practice that can be shared with the team; we value your viewpoints and actively encourage our Advanced Practitioners who have specialist areas of interest, to further learn and develop.

We will invest in your future; we know that a percentage of our workforce describe the culture in Adult Social Care as a learning culture (Adult Social Care Health check 2017) and that is because we truly believe in ‘growing our own’.

We offer internal workshops with guest speakers, opportunities to attend externally ran CPD events and access to a wealth of internal training; structured through our professional development guide. We also allow staff the chance to apply for new posts and encourage positive movement in teams, through progression or a developmental sideways move (must have been in post for 12 months).

We will respect you as an individual; we will monitor your workload and take time to offer you supportive and regular supervision.

If this sounds like the right place for you then apply today or email: ASCrecruitment@gloucestershire.gov.uk to find out more/arrange a visit.
