Gloucestershire County Council is seeking an experienced Sustainable Drainage (SUDS) Engineer to work in their busy Flood Risk Management team. The team has responsibility for the delivering the Council’s role as Lead Local Flood Authority under the Flood and Water Management Act 2010. The Council is a statutory consultee in the planning process and the successful candidate will have an important role in providing SUDS technical advice to Local Planning Authorities relating to proposals for the management of surface water and associated flood risk on major planning applications.
