We have 2 exciting part time opportunities available working for Gloucester City Council in our Visitor Experience Team.

The Visitor Experience Team operates a number of venues including Gloucester Guildhall, Blackfriars Priory, Gloucester Life Museum, Museum of Gloucester and the Tourist Information Centre. Your role will be to ensure that visitors to our venues receive the best possible experience ever!

What will do be doing?

You will be based across multiple venues and will provide a wide breadth of services including ticket sales, visitor information, setting up and working at a variety of events including live music, weddings, conferences, multi-day events such as the Gloucester History Festival as well as sharing stories about the history of Gloucester to visitors at our Museums. We’re not sure you will find another role so varied as this!

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who can transfer their skills from one venue to another, someone who enjoys being in a social setting and doesn’t mind working unsociable hours. Our industry is 24/7 therefore shifts will include evenings and weekends. You will work in busy environments under pressure but within a friendly, professional team. You must be willing to get stuck in and be capable of lifting/moving event equipment. Most importantly, we need someone who will make sure that our visitors have a memorable experience!

If you are skilled, experienced and passionate about delivering an exceptional visitor experience then we would be keen to hear from you.

Please contact John Riley on 01452 396572 for further information about the role.
