Gardners Lane and Oakwood Federation is seeking to appoint a motivated Family Support Worker to join our dedicated and successful Targeted Family Support Team and help us to continue to develop our high quality service for families with children aged 0 -11.
You will be required to work flexibly across our Children and Family Centres which are located across Cheltenham and Tewkesbury districts. You will need to have a relevant Level 4 Childcare, Health or Social Care Qualification or a Level 3 with an expectation of gaining a Level 4.
This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week over 5 days.
As a member of the Federation Team we will offer you;
• Support – through six weekly supervisions and an Annual Performance Review
• Training – on-going continued professional development which could include on the job training, work shadowing, courses and qualifications – all depending on what you need as a person and what the organisation needs now and in the future
• A workplace pension scheme to all qualifying staff.
As part of the recruitment process you will be asked to complete an interview and presentation related to the post of Family Support Worker. We will require two written references for all shortlisted candidates.
In accordance with our data retention policy we will keep all paperwork related to the recruitment of this post for 6 months, after which it will be destroyed.
