This is a new role created to join the working of health and housing colleagues, especially in respect of Disabled Facility Grants (DFG) to ensure a more timely and equitable service.

The three main functions of the role are; to monitor DFG applications to ensure flow through the system, to assist in reviewing current processes and policies to align across districts and to develop referral routes with internal and external services.

There is a need for this role to work throughout Gloucestershire at Shire Hall and Sanger House as well as with Occupational Therapists and Grant Officers in each of the localities and with the public
