There are a mix of permanent and fixed term posts on offer.

9 positions are full time, 37 hours per week on a rota basis between 8.00am – 5.30pm, Mon – Fri

1 permanent position is offered on formal job share basis, 17.5 hours per week on a rota basis between 8.00am – 5.30pm, Wed – Fri. Week 1, working full days on Wed/Thu/Fri and week 2, full days on Thu/Fri.

This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a journey to review the way we provide signposting and advice to customers with queries about services for Adult Social Care.

The Adult Helpdesk service is currently delivered via ‘phone and email. If you are a creative customer service professional with the ability to ensure that queries are answered as effectively and efficiently as possible and in line with the Council’s policies and procedures, we would like to hear from you.

You would be expected to provide a responsive and effective point of contact for all County Council customers – both internal and external and must be comfortable working in a corporate contact centre environment.
