Gloucestershire Integrated Brokerage is looking for two Commissioning Broker to work with providers to support the Brokerage of placements and packages of care out of ‘traditional’ office hours.

The post holders will work across a number sites as required by Gloucestershire County Council and Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group, providing a brokerage service up to 8pm Monday to Friday and between the hours of 11am and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. The remainder of the working week these posts will work as part of the wider Brokerage team sourcing services that meet the needs of service users of both Health & Social Care The role will include brokering, recording, monitoring and reporting accurate placement and provider information on an ongoing basis. This is a dynamic position and you will be expected to multitask, highlighting opportunities and escalating risks to managers as appropriate.

 You will need to be flexible, resilient, organised and calm under pressure. You should also be willing to take on new challenges as they arise. Candidates should be computer literate, an experience of using ERIC or ContrOCC or of commissioning care and support for individuals would be an advantage but not essential.  

The role is a permanent position.

Weekend and Evening working is essential.
