We are looking to appoint an experienced administrator with a background in recruitment.  The role is working alongside our corporate recruitment team to provide dedicated oversight and coordination of the operational recruitment of children’s social workers.

You will lead on placing adverts for social work roles and track applicants through the process of shortlisting, interviews and appointments ensuring the applicants have a positive experience.  You will be the key point of contact with applicants for permanent roles ensuring they are engaged through the recruitment process.   You will also be working with agency staff providers to bring in agency social workers to cover vacancies. This requires responsive and proactive working to ensure we are communicating with the agencies in a timely way.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in working in a recruitment setting as well as having knowledge of recruiting social workers or similar hard to fill roles. You will be organised and able to prioritise and track multiple different strands of work at one time. Customer focus is important to us and you will be a good communicator with external candidates and internal managers and colleagues.

Children’s social care is currently on an improvement journey and recruitment of a permanent workforce forms an important part of this.

If you have further questions about the role or wish to have an informal discussion about the role, please contact Bhavnita Patel on 01452 324298.

Interviews to commence 7th and 8th February 2019.
