The role of CP Conference Team Manager

We are looking for an experienced team manager to work as part of a management team to lead our child protection conference chairs in meeting their responsibilities. This will include chairing of initial and review conferences, engaging children in their reviews, managing dispute resolution, quality assurance of plans and celebrating best practice.

To undertake this role with us we need:

  • Your commitment and enthusiasm to add value to our Children’s Service

  • Your extensive front line experience as a qualified and registered social worker

  • Your leadership experience including mentoring / coaching to support your team

  • You to provide high level support and challenge to colleagues to foster a learning culture

  • You to also bring persistence to manage situations of a challenging nature
