Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for your next career move? We are recruiting for Social Workers’ for our Cotswold locality team.
The Cotswolds team are made up of a robust management structure including: an integrated social care manager, a deputy social care manager and three advanced practitioners; it also comprises of around 20 other staff, both unqualified assessors and qualified social workers. We are looking for someone to join this supportive and knowledgeable team.
We are looking for someone who has completed their assessed and supported year of employment (ASYE) and who has up to date knowledge of current legislation. The right candidate must of course have a desire to support people to live as independently as possible for as long as possible. As an authority we encourage you to achieve these aims through building strong links in the community and through offering you the development to ensure you practice is up to date and good quality.
The Adult Social Care Career Framework outlines the opportunities for progression and development when working at Gloucestershire County Council; however we also offer staff great opportunities for continuous professional development in others forms; with all staff given personal licences to Adults CCINFORM, access to mandatory training and bi – annual training workshops on key topics.
