The permanent post is to work at The Vicarage a Gloucestershire County Council short breaks unit.
You will work on a shift basis which will include weekend working and sleeping in duties when fully trained. In addition to the salary third time enhancements and paid for all weekend shifts and between 8pm – 10pm each day.
We will expect you to have experience of working within a care setting, following risk assessments, care plans, and assist with personal care and moving and handling.
You will be responsible for the care and welfare of those service users staying, meeting their assessed needs, assisting with personal care, moving and handling and administering medication when required.
The post holder will need to be committed to providing a high quality service.
We can offer a supportive team environment with regular mandatory training and supervision.
