An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Bereavement Services team at Coney Hill Cemetery and Crematorium.
We are a small friendly team operating within the public sector providing burial and cremation services and respectful and dignified spaces to remember the deceased,
We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to assist in the day to day running of the Cemetery and Crematorium.
Reporting to the Bereavement Services Manager you will be responsible for receiving and dealing with enquiries from the public, funeral directors, and clergy; in person, by phone, letter and email. Attention to detail is essential as this is a key role in ensuring all paperwork and records are accurate to comply with legislation.
This will also include accepting and processing documents, handling cremated remains caskets and burial attendances.
You will be dealing with bereaved families in often stressful circumstances; it is therefore essential that you have a high level of empathy and good communication and customer care skills.
Experience in Microsoft Office is essential
