We are seeking a new member to join our busy target focussed Business Administration Support Team. We provide high quality administration support to teams within Communities & Infrastructure.

You must be customer focussed with a professional telephone manner and excellent all round communication skills.


A ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines in a busy team environment is essential.


The successful candidate will need to be able to confidently use a range of IT based systems and databases and have experience of Microsoft Office Packages, e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook.


You will be required to undertake a wide range of administration support duties these include:-


Monitoring and responding to enquiries via generic mailboxes

Processing purchase order requests

Financial transactions:-

Processing incoming income

Processing credit notes

Processing invoices

Accurately updating electronic records

Database & spreadsheet data entry and filtering

Diary management: arranging meetings, room hire and catering requests


Provide miscellaneous administration support as and when required to do so.


As a member of the Communities & Infrastructure Business Administration Support Team, you will provide efficient, flexible and consistent administrative support to meet the needs of a wide range of council services some of which are very high profile, confidential, diverse & challenging.
