The Council’s shared service centre has a vacancy for a Payroll and Pensions Processing Administrator.
The successful applicant will initially specialise in Pension Administration but will have opportunities to also work with Payroll Processing in the longer term. We specialise in processing: - statutory pension monthly & annual return reports, LGPS leaver forms to the Pension Administration Fund and dealing with all pension related queries.
Payroll processing includes processing payrolls from the gross to net stage, carrying out all third party processes and returns, LGPS, TP and other scheme pension monthly and annual returns. All HMRC monthly and annual legislative and statutory returns including RTI, P60, P11D etc., delivering a wide range of cost effective, timely services that meet the needs of our internal and external customers. Applicants should have experience in payroll and pension processing, knowledge of legislative and statutory payroll and pension procedures, ability to prioritise workloads, strong admin and excel skills and a willingness to learn.
This post will require full NPPV (Non Police Personnel) Level 2 security clearance in order for probation to be passed and a permanent job offer confirmed.
