Gloucestershire Registration Service is looking for three full time Registration Support Officers to join our busy team.
2 permanent posts / 1 fixed term for 12 months

As a Registration Support Officer you will be required to interact with highly emotional, members of the public every day. The role involves taking complex, highly detailed, accurate bookings mainly by phone for ceremonies, births and deaths. Face to face public interaction is also required in the role and excellent customer service skills are required.

You will need to be articulate with proven excellent interpersonal, administrative and computer skills. The ability to cope in a demanding environment, flexibility and a desire to provide the best possible service at all times are also attributes we are looking for.

This position is required to participate in an Usher weekend rota for some booked ceremonies. The role is based in the Cheltenham Register Office, covering other offices in county at times, as required.

Please note interviews are likely to be held virtually if face to face is not possible due to COVID19.
