We are looking for an experienced and dedicated administrator to join us to work full time in Children’s Social Care as part of our Business Support Team. The position is working in the Turn around for Children Service.

This service is a multi agency, countywide team based in Gloucester which is made up of social workers and Health professionals who work together to provide a restorative and therapeutic approach to support parents to overcome drug and alcohol addiction. The team work closely with the families and the Family court, all attending Court on a fortnightly basis.

The role involves undertaking administrative duties to support the business needs of the team and the wider service area. These will include managing calls, inputting and handling sensitive data, following financial processes, taking minutes at court and in meetings, liaising with other professionals and any other duties to support the social work teams.

We are looking for someone with experience of working in a team and office environment and who has the ability to manage their own workload. The ideal candidate should display qualities of adaptability, professionalism and be proactive in their approach.
