Gloucestershire is a great place to live, work and do business. One big part of making sure our county continues to thrive in the future is maintaining and improving our highways network. Our roads allow us to get to work, school, the supermarket, to socialise, and to get emergency help when we need it.

Gloucestershire County Council’s Highways Skills Academy has been set up to provide apprenticeships both with the council and its partners who together design, build and maintain our highways network in Gloucestershire. The training available will offer a breadth of experience working in both the private and public sectors throughout the duration of the programme.

We want to recruit an Assistant Project Manager Apprentice to be part of the Skills Academy. You will be based in our Major Projects team, but during your training you will be able to get experience both with us and our Skills Academy partners, Ringway, Atkins and Tarmac, helping to deliver highway schemes across Gloucestershire.

Candidates will be expected to complete a Level 4 Assistant Project Management Apprenticeship.
