To oversee all aspects of Highways Development Management from pre application discussions to road adoption.


To support and manage technical officers


To maintain and develop strong relationships with partner organisations.

To enable sustainable economic development in the County through the development planning process and the provision of new transport infrastructure (involving multi-million pound housing and employment sites with associated strategic highways implications) by the provision of positive and influential leadership to the Highways Development Management Team.
