We are currently looking for a member of staff to help us deliver excellent customer service working at Cirencester Library.


You will need good IT skills and be comfortable using tablets and downloadable digital content (Apps, e-books, e-audio etc) .  You should enjoy working as part of a team, yet still able to use your own initiative and use our resources in order to answer the wide range of enquiries we receive.


You will promote the library and children’s services, be prepared to participate in any Library activities and events and will need to develop a good knowledge of what Libraries have to offer.


No library qualifications are required but customer service experience is beneficial.

Hours of work will be:

Week 1

Mon-OFF
Tues- 9.30am-1pm
Weds-9am-1pm
Thurs-OFF
Fri-9.30am-1pm
Sat-OFF

Week 2

Mon-OFF
Tues- 9.30am-1pm
Weds-OFF
Thurs-OFF
Fri-9.30am-1pm
Sat-9am-1pm
