We are on the lookout for a resilient and driven Deputy Team Manager to join our Fostering Recruitment Team on a part time basis. We are looking for someone who can play their part in making our vision for children’s services a success. You will be instrumental in delivering a first-class service which will deliver the best outcomes for children and young people in care and care leavers in Gloucestershire.

About You/ Your Role: Do you have the skills to join an established, highly motivated and friendly team within the Fostering Service where we recruit, support and offer training to foster carers within their first year of fostering? We need a well informed and dynamic individual who is familiar with Fostering Assessments and the recruitment process of prospective foster carers.
This role is part-time, 18.5 hours per week, and the ideal candidate will have experience in Fostering and management. This role includes oversight of the recruitment process, working closely with Team Managers to ensure that quality, attention to detail and legal requirements are observed. You will be familiar with the relevant legislative processes relating to Fostering and have experience of completing Form F assessments.
You will have a positive attitude, good problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
As well as the above you will;
- Have a recognised qualification in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- To have passed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
- A full driving licence and willingness to drive
- DBS clearance
