Salary: £52,301 plus flexible duty allowance (20%)

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service is looking for professional, highly motivated individuals with a drive for excellence. Individuals that are looking to broaden their knowledge and skills and join our team in the role of Group Manager.
Applications are welcomed from current Group Managers and competent Station Managers both internal and external to join our Group Manager Talent Pool.

The successful candidate will be offered the current available Group Manager position. Other candidates who have been successful will be held in a Promotion Talent Pool and will be able to apply for the next available Group Manager position.
When another Group Manager position becomes available expressions of interest will be asked from candidates within the talent pool and a role related professional discussion will be conducted. Decisions will be made based on the skills requirement of the job and the professional discussion outcome.
The role will be subject to the NJC Scheme of Conditions of Service Sixth Edition 2004 (updated 2009).
Position is subject to an Enhanced & Barred Disclosure check. Assessment centre and interviews - Week commencing 14th December 2020.
