Maternity Leave Cover up to 31st January 2022 with possible extension to 30th April 2022 


An opportunity has arisen to provide maternity leave cover and become part of Gloucestershire Libraries team to lead and manage the services stock policy.


The post holder will have responsibility for managing and monitoring the library catalogue and countywide stock collections, including the procurement, delivery and promotion of all stock including digital content and resources.


The post holder will also have management responsibility for our team of professional Librarians and we are therefore looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills and an ability to work within an existing team structure.


This role will be required to manage the stock budgets, ensuring the most effective use of council resources.
