Thank you for your interest in Gloucestershire County Council, you will be joining us at a very exciting time. Our newly set up Digital & ICT service is embarking on ambitious change and this will require a fundamental shift in the way that services are delivered.

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect with technical knowledge and experience to join the newly formed Strategy and Architecture team working alongside the Lead Enterprise Architect and a third-party Solutions Architect. We are building this new in-house architectural function from scratch, which gives the successful candidate an opportunity to influence the future digital direction of the organisation based on best practice and innovative solutions.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work with in-house and outsourced technical specialists

  • Provide technical support to business representatives and other stakeholders

  • Ensure architectural practice is aligned to our design principles

  • Provide technical assurance for solution proposals and change.

  • Support the creation of our technical and digital roadmaps

  • Ideally have expert knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform

You will be a confident, enthusiastic, self-motivated and determined individual who is well organised and able to balance competing demands to meet tight timescales. You will be a customer focused, organised and tenacious individual who can offer a high level of technical expertise. You will have excellent written communications skills and experience of stakeholder management.
