Gloucestershire County Council is committed to offering opportunities for apprentices to join our workforce. Within the Children and Families Commissioning Hub we have a Business Support Service which works to support our teams of Commissioners with a number of administrative functions, including financial administration tasks.
As an apprentice with us we would assign you to work with our Hub Administrator to learn about commissioning and the key admin tasks to allow you to develop the workplace skills alongside your qualification and work-based training. This particular apprenticeship would concentrate on the financial admin tasks predominantly while still getting an all round introduction into all admin tasks that are required with Children and Families Commissioning.
Working in Children and Families Commissioning does require an applicant who can be proactive or responsive to changing demands of the role that can bring great reward and job satisfaction.
