Our fostering service: Gloucestershire is committed to offering an excellent service to foster carers whilst increasing the number of foster carers available for our children in care. We have a very busy and experienced fostering panel who consider all new approvals, annual reviews and long term matches for children.
Your role: You will be a committed and enthusiastic Social Worker with extensive fostering experience including knowledge of the fostering regulations and National Minimum Standards. In this role you’ll be working collaboratively with our independent fostering panel and our fostering resource. The ability to be flexible, work independently and provide excellent quality assurance feedback is essential for the Fostering Agency Adviser. In addition you will have responsibility for the day to day management and supervision of the Fostering Reviewing Officer, providing appropriate support, supervision, and performance management to ensure the delivery of high quality services, the safety and well-being of relevant staff and effective use of resources.
